How long does it take for a SolutecGrease automatic grease dispenser to start working after activation?
After activating the unit by screwing in the starter cap, the chemical reaction needs time to build sufficient internal pressure before lubricant begins dispensing. A Type 1 (1-month) unit requires approximately 8 hours, while a Type 12 (12-month) unit takes around 40 hours to commence discharge. If your bearing requires immediate lubrication, simply activate the unit in advance. Once operational, the unit dispenses at a constant, self-regulated rate for the full service period.

Yes. With no electrical components and a single steel piston, our automatic lubricator is ATEX-certified, IP68-rated, and fully operational underwater, at high temperatures, and in contaminated industrial settings.
